Pool Service Report Generator

This is a fill-in form that builds a one-page pool service slip — a door hanger or a letter — in your browser. Type a visit on the left and the slip on the right updates live; print it or save it as a PDF. Nothing is stored.

Each water reading is flagged against its ideal range. The default ranges come from Grey Shark Pool Services' service-report guide and are editable — override the low/high fields for a parameter when your source or region differs. Free chlorine is 2–4 ppm, pH is 7.4–7.6 on a chlorine pool and 7.6–8.0 on salt, and so on. A reading inside its range reads In range; below or above reads Low or High with an icon, never color alone.

The safe-to-swim time is the longest applicable wait among the chemicals you added, from Swim University's after-chemicals guide — for example pH increaser is ~20–30 minutes while shock is ~8–24 hours. The chemical class you pick drives the time, not the product name. This is a rule of thumb, not a safety guarantee: whenever chlorine or shock is added, the slip always shows the retest-free-chlorine caveat, and it can't be turned off.
