Pool Service Agreement Template

You just landed a recurring pool account and need the agreement in writing before the first visit. The contract that sits between a quote (which proposes a price) and an invoice (which bills the work) defines the recurring scope, the schedule, the fee terms, who is responsible for what, liability, and how either side cancels. The pool-specific parts generic templates skip

Most “cleaning contract” templates are blank and trade-neutral. This one ships the pool clauses already written:

• A pre-written weekly-task scope — skim, brush walls and steps, vacuum, empty skimmer and pump baskets, test and balance water chemistry, backwash and clean the filter, inspect equipment. Each task is removable.
• A chemicals included-vs-billed-separately toggle — the single most common pool-account dispute. Choose once and it rewrites both the scope clause and the fee clause, so the agreement is internally consistent.
• A green-pool / extraordinary-conditions carve-out — above-normal work is billed hourly, with the price quoted after the first treatment.
• A repair-consent dollar threshold — below it the provider may proceed; above it, written consent with cost disclosure is required first.
• A residential vs light-commercial variant — the light-commercial version adds a property-manager / authority line to the header.
• A set visit frequency with a skip-week / vacation-credit rule — weekly in season with an editable cadence, plus a clause stating whether a missed week is credited or banked, since flat recurring fees usually price the season as a whole.
• An annual price-adjustment clause — an editable, CPI-style escalation you set at renewal, so the rate isn’t frozen for the life of a multi-year account.
• Autopay and term / renewal terms — an optional card-on-file authorization plus a cancellation-notice period and an auto-renewal toggle, each left editable.

The fee figures are advisory, not a price

The recurring-fee fields are editable defaults you overwrite, not a quote — this agreement never computes a total or moves money.
