Pest Control Proposal & Quote Template

This is a pest sales proposal, not a bare quote: it pairs a short narrative — who you are, the scope of work, and a general IPM treatment plan — with a priced line-item table, then a warranty, terms, and a signature line. The treatment-plan, warranty, and terms copy ship as an editable starting point; they are advisory, not legal or regulatory text, and you edit them for the job.

The pricing uses the published proposal layout — a Name · Price · QTY · Subtotal table rolling up to a Subtotal → Discount → Tax → Total summary. Discount applies before tax (the US convention):

row subtotal = qty × unit price
subtotal     = Σ row subtotals
discount     = percent → subtotal × value%
             = amount  → min(value, subtotal)
taxable      = subtotal − discount
tax          = taxable × tax rate
total        = taxable + tax

Worked example: two rows (2 × $120 and 1 × $260) total $500; a 10% discount is $50, leaving $450 taxable; 8% tax is $36, for a $486 total. The tax rate defaults to 0% — many pest services are not sales-taxable, so enter your local rate. The Proposal # is auto-suggested as Q-YYYY-001 each session; nothing is saved, so it does not count up between visits.

The signature lines are printed acceptance lines only — there is no e-signature capture, no deposit or payment collection, and no saved proposal library. Everything lives in your browser for this one session.

The prices you type into the table have to come from somewhere. The flat-rate price book template builds the reusable good, better and best menu these line items are drawn from, and on a facility account the monthly figure behind a facility line item is built from facility type, square footage and service frequency before it lands in a proposal. Once a proposal is accepted, the work order template dispatches the job and the pest control invoice template bills it.
