Housecall Pro advertises Basic from $59/mo — billed annually, single user, no card processing. For most small crews the real monthly spend is materially higher once you add per-seat fees and payment-processing costs. This calculator shows the all-in number for your specific plan, crew size, and card volume, using figures sourced directly from housecallpro.com/pricing (verified 2026-08-22).

How Housecall Pro pricing actually works

Housecall Pro sells three plans: Basic, Essentials, and Max. Each has a lower annual-billed rate and a higher month-to-month rate.

These are the base prices. Two common line items push the real cost higher.

What the sticker price doesn’t include

Extra seats. If your team grows beyond the included seat count, you pay a per-additional-user fee. Housecall Pro publishes per-additional-user pricing on two of three plans: $100/user/mo on Essentials and $75/user/mo on Max. Basic’s extra-seat price is still not shown, so the calculator renders “not published — request a quote” for Basic only.

Payment processing. Housecall Pro’s integrated payments (“as low as 2.59%”) are a percentage of every dollar you run through card. On $20,000/mo of card volume that’s at least $518/mo — roughly 3.5× the Essentials base price by itself. ACH transfers run at 1%. These fees are revenue to Housecall Pro; they’re not shown in the base-plan headline.

Add-ons. Housecall Pro offers add-on products (Sales Pro, Pipeline, Service Plans). Their prices are not clearly published / billing details are ambiguous, so the calculator omits them and notes the gap honestly. A worked example: Essentials, 5 techs, $20k/mo card

Annual-billed Essentials for 5 users: $149/mo. Add card processing at ≥ 2.59% on $20,000: at least $518/mo. All-in: ≥ $667/mo versus the $149 headline. That’s a 4.5× difference — before any add-ons.

If you’re on the Max plan with 10 techs and the same card volume: $299 base + $150 seat overage (2 extra × $75) + $518 processing = ≥ $967/mo.

How the calculator handles “not published” figures

Any figure Housecall Pro hasn’t published on its own pricing page is shown as “not published — request a quote” rather than a guessed number. The total is therefore always a floor — the actual cost may be higher once unpublished per-seat fees or add-on prices are added. That’s why every result is prefixed ”≥” (at least).
