How this is calculated
Each surface row multiplies its measured quantity by a rate, then by a soiling factor and (for height-affected surfaces with two-story on) a height factor. Gutters are measured and priced per linear foot. The job minimum is a floor: the quote never drops below it.
per-sq-ft method:
factor = soiling × (two-story & height-affected ? 1.30 : 1.00)

production-rate method:

soiling: Light 1.00 / Average 1.15 / Heavy 1.35
two-story height factor: 1.30 (siding / roof / gutters only) Worked example. A 2,000 sq ft concrete driveway at 500 sq ft/hr and $90/hr is 4.0 hours, so $360 — and at $0.18/sq ft the per-sq-ft method lands on the same $360, an effective $90/hr. The two methods reconcile, which is the cross-check this tool surfaces.
Per-surface rates and the 500 sq ft/hr production rate are editable starting points, not fixed rules — a surface cleaner runs far faster than a wand. Adjust them to your market, surfaces, and equipment. Tax is excluded.
