Pest Control Pricing Calculator: per-visit estimate, quarterly / monthly plans
Price a pest control visit from your own costs using nine pest presets and a visible multiplier ladder, then compare one-time, quarterly, and monthly plans.
How this is calculated
Step 1 builds the per-visit price: a pest-type base rate plus a per-area charge, scaled by five multipliers, then your travel, materials, overhead and target margin. Step 2 re-prices that same stack at each plan cadence and annualizes it. Every constant below is visible so you can argue with it before you quote.
base = pestBaseRate + area × perUnit (termite: perimeter × $/linear ft)
aggregate = min(M_size × M_severity × M_access × M_freq × M_region, 3.0)
afterMultipliers = base × aggregate
costBeforeOH = afterMultipliers + travel + materials
overhead = costBeforeOH × overheadPct
costBase = costBeforeOH + overhead
perVisitPrice = costBase / (1 − marginPct) margin on price, not markup on cost
year1Annual = perVisitPrice × visitsPerYear + initialVisitFee (bond plans only)
steadyAnnual = perVisitPrice × visitsPerYear Pest presets (nine)

The five multipliers are multiplied together and the product is clamped at ×3.0 so a large, severe, hard-access job in a high-cost region cannot compound into a price you would never actually send. When the clamp bites the tool says so on the ladder, and that is your cue to price the job by hand.
The lower per-visit multiplier on bond plans (×0.60 quarterly, ×0.35 monthly) reflects route density and a lighter maintenance treatment per stop, not a discount you are giving away: the monthly plan has the lowest per-visit price and the highest annual revenue, which is what the Step 2 table makes explicit. Base rates, per-area rates and multiplier bands are Fieldwynn editorial starting points (2026), editable; not published rates. Treat the output as a first pass and check it against your own job costs before you quote.
General pest work is the baseline; several jobs price on a different basis and have a calculator of their own. Roach work is priced per unit and per building by the cockroach treatment pricing calculator; rodent jobs carry exclusion labor and materials the general model does not, which the rodent control and exclusion pricing calculator accounts for; and seasonal yard work runs on area and visit count in the mosquito and tick treatment pricing calculator. Facility accounts are priced monthly rather than per visit, which is the monthly facility version of this page, and operators working in Canadian dollars have a Canadian version of this calculator with its own tax and currency handling.
