Recurring Pest Plan Comparator

Per-visit price alone is misleading because cadences differ in how many visits they pack into a year. A $55 monthly visit is 12 visits ($660/yr); a $140 quarterly visit is only 4 ($560/yr) — so the cheaper visit is the more expensive plan. This tool puts every plan on one annual basis.

Bi-monthly means every two months — 6 visits a year, not twice a month. The $/coverage-month figure is the annual total divided by 12, not the per-visit price; for monthly the two coincide ($660 ÷ 12 = $55), for quarterly they diverge ($560 ÷ 12 = $46.67 ≠ $140), and that divergence is the whole point.

The one-time row is shown for reference only — a single visit gives no year-round coverage, so it is never the flagged winner. An optional initial/setup fee (typically $150–$300) folds into each recurring plan's first-year total only when you turn the toggle on; it never touches the one-time row or steady-state (year-2-onward) totals.

Worked example. One-time $200, monthly $55, bi-monthly $65, quarterly $140: annual totals come to $200, $660, $390, $560. Bi-monthly wins at $390/yr — $170/yr (30%) less than quarterly, the next cheapest — even though monthly has the cheapest per-visit price.
