Lawn & Landscaping Work Order Template

This is a fill-in form, not a calculator. Type into the fields on the left and the one-page work order on the right updates live; print it or save it as a PDF when you're ready. Every blank falls back to a bracketed placeholder, so the sheet is usable before you've typed anything.

The task checklist opens pre-filled with the eight typical lawncare tasks — Mow, Edge, String-trim, Blow/cleanup, Weed, Mulch, Prune/hedge, Haul-away — each with an unchecked box. Check the ones for this visit, edit the labels, or add your own rows. This is the crew-facing core the billing-leaning templates skimp on.

Pricing is optional and secondary. Add materials and, when prices are shown, each line rolls up to a Subtotal, optional Tax, and Total:

line total = qty × unit cost
subtotal   = Σ line totals
tax        = subtotal × tax rate%
total      = subtotal + tax

The Show prices / Hide (crew copy) toggle is load-bearing: switch it to Hide and the materials cost columns, the tax field, and the whole pricing block disappear — so the same sheet prints as a clean, price-free crew copy in one click.

The materials Unit is a label only — switching cu yd to cu m changes the printed unit, never the quantity. The Work Order # is free text you type — never auto-generated, and nothing you enter is saved. The crew / lead is a name to print, not a managed assignment. The two signature lines record that the visit happened; they are not a binding contract or a regulatory record.
