HVAC Maintenance Checklist Template

This is a fill-in sheet, not a calculator — there is no formula and nothing is computed. Type into the fields on the left and the one-page checklist on the right updates live; print it or save it as a PDF when you're ready, or print a blank sheet to fill at the truck.

Pick a seasonal variant: Annual prints the full system, Spring / AC hides the furnace section, and Fall / Furnace hides the AC section. The system type marks the heating or cooling side N/A on a cooling-only or heating-only unit rather than dropping it. When a variant and a system type disagree, the more restrictive one wins and a note explains what changed, so nothing silently disappears.

Each inspection row records a three-state result — Pass / Monitor / Fail by default, or switch the whole sheet to Yes / No / N/A. Results print as an icon and a label so they stay legible in black-and-white. They are descriptive only: the sheet aggregates no score and certifies nothing.

The performance-readings table is blank value fields you write into — supply / return temps, suction / discharge pressures, amperage, and voltage. Nothing is calculated for you (no delta-T, superheat, or subcooling). Temperatures display in your chosen unit (°F or °C), re-labeled as you typed them — not converted.
