Foundation linear feet plus trench depth into gallons of finished termiticide to mix and pour, plus concentrate and water — with the per-foot-of-depth multiplier most tools miss.
How this is calculated
The verified part is the geometry. The EPA-registered label rate is 4 gallons of finished dilution per 10 linear feet — per foot of depth. Most calculators compute the surface barrier and forget the depth multiplier, under-dosing the trench. This one foregrounds it:
finished gallons = (linear feet / 10) × 4 × trench depth (ft)
= 0.4 × linear feet × depth
concentrate (fl oz) = finished gallons × rate (fl oz / gal)
water (gal) = finished gallons − concentrate / 128
bottles needed = ceil(concentrate / bottle size) Why depth matters: at 150 linear feet, a 1-ft trench needs 60 gal; the same 150 ft at a full 4-ft footing needs 240 gal — four times as much. The Pest Control Technology worked example reproduces exactly: 180 linear ft × 1 ft = (180 ÷ 10) × 4 = 72 gal.
The finished-gallons rate (0.4 gal/ft/ft) is verified against Pest Control Technology's "Termite Control: Calculate It Correctly." The concentrate dilution figures (0.06% ≈ 0.8 fl oz/gal, 0.09% ≈ 1.2, 0.125% ≈ 1.6) are an illustrative default, not independently confirmed — the manufacturer label PDF was not machine-readable at sourcing time. They ship as an editable rate you override with your product label's figure before mixing. Lengths are converted through meters internally; the gallons math runs in the rate's published imperial units so it reproduces the label arithmetic exactly.
