Pick a sizing method, a clean type, and a frequency, then adjust the editable rates to your market. Square-footage mode prices off one standard $/sq ft rate; deep and move-out cleans scale from it by an editable multiplier, so one rate edit cascades. Room-count mode adds per-bedroom and per-bathroom amounts to a base fee.

Per-sq-ft:  base = area × rate × cleanType×
Room-count: base = (baseFee + beds×perBed + baths×perBath) × cleanType×
addons      = appliances + windows + laundry   (flat, not scaled)
subtotal    = base + addons
per visit   = max(subtotal × frequencyFactor, jobMinimum)
effective $/hr = per-visit price ÷ (area ÷ production rate)

Clean-type multipliers ship as editable defaults — deep ≈ 1.75× and move-out ≈ 2.15× (mid-band of the cited 1.5–2× and 2–2.3× ranges). We use a multiplier rather than a baked-in deep-clean per-sq-ft rate because sources disagree on that number; an editable multiplier keeps you in control.

Frequency factors are editable defaults too: one-time 1.00, weekly 0.80, biweekly 0.85, monthly 0.92 — recurring work is cheaper per visit. The frequency lever is a stateless per-visit comparator; it never creates or stores a recurring schedule.

The optional effective $/hr check divides the per-visit price by estimated labor hours (area ÷ production rate) and flags when it falls below your target hourly. In room-count mode it uses an internal area proxy (beds×250 + baths×120 + 400 sq ft) and only appears once you supply a production rate.
